Thanks Inda and Barbara for you words about death. I lost my wife some months ago and I was touched by Kahlil Gibran's words
If you would indeed behold the spirit of
death, open your heart wide unto the body
of life.
For life and death are one, even as the
river and the sea are one.
I look up from this laptop and gaze across the room at the portrait of my wife that hangs on the wall. I see in her eyes she is telling me to look beyond her portrait and seek life, for there I will find her.
