Veeeery interesting!
My aunt and uncle taught me detachment, or actually more properly: IMPERMANENCE. Maybe it's the same thing you are writing essays about, hum?
Later I found a musical CONFIRMATION when a book said that only detached notes can have happy parts, the connected notes, legato in musicalizationisms, are for sad or melancholy phrases, for happy ones, like... say, calypso parts, they need to be detached - so that they can zip around at fast speeds.. makes me think of dogs in a park -
when their leashes are off!
tho... when you have to deal with a fambly issue, a responsibility paperwork drudgery wait-in-line frustrating BORING kind of think... well, you sort of need to be 'attached,' or even 'leashed' for that matter...
A balance of detached needlessness, and appropriate needismness, somewhere between those polarities is what I find works for me. Just sharing a think or 2..
Glad you brought this up. Fascinating topic, I'd say.. but I like these intro-outro-spection type of thinks..
Love and light being, Teo Do (Re, Mi, Far...)
