May you find yourself in the world…and may you enjoy the company!
Hello everybody!
I haven't been here for so long I hope you remember me Yes
I have been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome. I read a book on Ayurveda and how it is highly beneficial in healing from CFS. I am very inspired and it makes so much sense to me that I want to spend the rest of my life this way. I took the Dosha test (questionaire), and I found out I am a Vata/Kapha. My highest score was Vata, scoring 90, and I scored 65 on the Kapha test and very little on the Pitta test, so I guess I am definitely Vata/Kapha. I have no money (as I am disabled) to go to an Ayurvedic doctor, so I need your help. My question is, which diet do I follow? Since I am mostly Vata, do I follow the vata diet or do I have to mix both Vata and Kapha diets...do I follow the diet for my most predominant dosha or both?
Thank you so much in advance for any help you can give me!
Sincerely
Alessandra Wave2

Dear Alessandra,

It is wonderful to have you back here on Givnology. Thank you for your informative post.
I am a Vata, and a little bit Pitta, and I also like to follow the Ayurvedic diet whenever I can. I hope that you will feel full of energy very soon.
Thank you for sharing the picture of the lovely dog.

Love, Inda

I know that we should not really be sharing this, but being a weekend and our Thanksgiving I could not resist

Thank you for sharing the diet tips Alessandra. Nice to see you back.
I am afraid, like Inda, this weekend I have been bad with my diet, since it was our Thanksgiving, and being of European origin we grew up with all sorts of goodies.
Now I am definitely back to sensible eating. I will look into the Ayurvedic diets.

Love,
