There has been a violent shooting in my city yesterday. I am posting a newspaper article about the terrible tragedy. I would like to ask our poet community to join in thoughts and prayers for the victims and their family. Here is the article from the Montreal Gazette:

Montreal
A young man opens fire outside Dawson College, a CEGEP serving about 10,000 students in downtown Montreal, and then continues the rampage inside the school. Witnesses describe seeing a tall skinny youth with a Mohawk haircut walk into the cafeteria shortly before 1 p.m. carrying a large gun. The man shoots a young woman to death and injures a number of others. At least 19 people are taken to hospital, at least six with critical injuries. They range in age from 17 to 48, according to police. Police shoot the killer, Kimveer Gill, a 25-year-old who lived in a borough of Laval north of Montreal, moments before the man turned the gun on himself and commited suicide in front of panicked students.
