May you find yourself in the world…and may you enjoy the company!
That pure consciousness
Which is the all-knowing, indwelling Self
Is neither born nor does it die.
It did not originate from anything,
Nor has it ever become anything.
Unborn, undying, constant -
It lives when the body dies.

Those who think it can be deastroyed
Or that it destroys -
Neither of them knows.
For the Self does not destroy
Nor can it e destroyed...

Thank you Dear Margherita.
This beautiful Iris sends light to the soul.
********************************************

Just as the sun
Sees the world by its own light
And yet remains free from its darkness,
So the Self,
The inner being of all beings,
Remains free from the sorrows
Of that in which it is embodied.

There is only one Power -
And it is that which is in the hearts of all.
Who knows this to be true
Gains eternal peace.

I and I love this dear Inda!!! Applause Applause

These Sutras are so awakening aren't they? Though they make me see how unimportant and vacuous most "commercial culture" things are, they also simply make me value the sacred simple things, and everything!

Thanks for sharing this Pure Consciousness, I needed it! he he..

Thank you Inda for the post.
Life Eternal (I)

I do not desire death on this exquisite earth
In this living humanity, I want to spend my days
In this sunshine, this blossoming garden of mine
In living hearts I'll perhaps make space.
Life ebbs and flows forevermore
Ruptures and unions washed in laughter and tears
In grief and glee I will make eternity
I will make songs that time reveres.
If I cannot, I still want to be
With all of you, as I slowly tend
To the garden where my songs will blossom like flowers
My season of blooms will never end.
Come, take my flowers on this radiant day
Savor them, touch them until time has its say.
