May you find yourself in the world…and may you enjoy the company!
Let us fall in love again
and scatter gold dust all over the world.
Let us become a new spring
and feel the breeze drift in the heavens' scent.
Let us dress the earth in green,
and like the sap of a young tree
let the grace from within sustain us.
Let us carve gems out of our stony hearts
and let them light our path to Love.
The glance of Love is crystal clear
and we are blessed by its light.

Thank you for a beautiful Rumi.
I love reading poetry. Back in my homecountry I wrote some poetry as well, but now with such a busy schedule there is hardly time to read poetry, not to mention write it.
I am happy to have found this wonderful site which offers so much beauty.

Sincerely,
Christina

Thank you Inda.
I missed this post.

We really need to listen to Rumi's advice.
Thank you girls for bringing back this very old post.

"... Move beyond any attachment to names." Every war

and every conflict between human beings has happened because
of some disagreement about

names. It's such an unnecessary foolishness, because just
beyond the arguing there's a long

table of companionship, set and waiting for us to sit down.

Rumi

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is praised is one, so the praise is one too,
many jugs being poured

into a huge basin. All religions, all this singing,
one song.

The differences are just illusion and vanity. Sunlight
looks slightly different

on this wall than it does on that wall and a lot different
on this other one, but

it is still one light. We have borrowed these clothes, these
time-and-space personalities,

from a light, and when we praise, we pour them back in.
