May you find yourself in the world…and may you enjoy the company!

Corona virus is all over the world. Keep your distance from large crowds. Use gloves when touching door knobs and railings. Wash your hands whenever possible and do not touch your face. Postpone socializing until the counts come down. If you have elderly parents or medically compromised relatives, keep them at home.

We just want to prevent it from spreading and we want the number of cases to come down so that we all can go back to work and not destroy the whole economy.

Wash your hands and do not touch your face. When I go out I open doors with gloves and do not touch anything without gloves. When I get home I was my gloves right away. I go out as little as possible and I cannot work at the moment. I also have a very compromised father living with us so we need to be extra careful.

My husband still works but we are very careful when he gets home. We keep my dad pretty well isolated whenever we need to.

I hope this will all pass soon, and keep healthy and well everyone.

Those who are infected with COVID-19 may have little to no symptoms. You may not know you have symptoms of COVID-19 because they are similar to a cold or flu.

Symptoms may take up to 14 days to appear after exposure to COVID-19. This is the longest known incubation period for this disease. We are currently investigating if the virus can be transmitted to others if someone is not showing symptoms. While experts believe that it is possible, it is considered less common.

Symptoms have included:

  • cough
  • fever
  • difficulty breathing
  • pneumonia in both lungs

In severe cases, infection can lead to death.

Keep social distances. Wash your hands and do NOT touch your face.

If you or your child become ill

If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19, reduce your contact with others:

  • isolate yourself at home for 14 days to avoid spreading it to others
    • if you live with others, stay in a separate room or keep a 2-metre distance
  • visit a health care professional or call your local public health authority
    • call ahead to tell them your symptoms and follow their instructions
