Dear Margherita, I borrowed your image from an earlier post abot Japanese fans. I hope that it is all right? It is such a lovely image that I wanted to include it in this "Iris" post.

The smaller Irises are in full bloom and the taller flowers are just about to open. They don't bloom for very long, so let us enjoy them while we can.

Love,
yoko

Irises are already in bloom.
I really enjoy looking at them. They look so fragile and delicate, but they really are a very touch flower.

They come in so many beautiful shades.

Love,
Vicky

Thank you Vicky for bringing back this colorful post. I see quite a few of the smaller Irises in bloom. They do look very delicate, almost like orchids.

Sincerely,
Gisele
Irises are blooming in my garden.
I love these beautiful, majestic flowers, but sadly, they are here only for a short time.

You are right Vicky,

Irises are blooming everywhere, and such beautiful colours.

I see Irises are starting to bloom.

They are so beautiful and look very delicate, but they are amazingly tough.

They survive our very cold winters.

Thank you Vicky for bringing back the Irises. They are blooming again. They do not last long and it is very hot here, so enjoy them while you can.

My irises are blooming nicely at the moment.

They should last for about three weeks depending on the weather.

Irises are blooming as well, and they are so beautiful, but also bloom a short time. Our weather gets too hot suddenly and most spring flowers do not tolerate the heat well.
