Got the downloads both as source midi files and as quicktime. Fine playing - like a piano scroll.

No sign of any ownership or permissions other than that the files are copyable and writable. I went to "get info" and found nothing there or on the clipboard.

I downloaded in X. I wonder what gives with your software that writes in your details. (?)

Perhaps it is only for your benefit at your end. It seems like it ought to show up where it is received. . .

Funny, Nick, in QuickTime Player on my Mac the FULL NAME displays, then in GetInfo the (c) stuff is there, the main test I am doing is Windows software, but with your SOFT-PC or SoftWindows in your G5 maybe you can test some WinAmps or RealPlayers of the Windows Variety?

See the attached, in my WinAmp right-clicking and choosing FILE INFO gave this much, yay!

TESTWARE
Please go ahead and RIGHT-CLICK the song link below, SAVE TO DISK or some such selection, put it in your favorite folder and then after downloading it, open it - probably WindowsMediaSlayer or RealFlayer or who nose, WinAmp? QuerkTimePlayer?

The only 2 pieces of information I have been able to insert into the MIDI music file are: 1-Full Sequence Name and 2-Copyright. The software that lets me do this is: MidiKit and I have been SEErously investigating if I can put "Genre," lyrics, date and other datums in tags - those of you who say it is easy YOU DON'T TEST ON MULTIPLE PLATFORMS so this is the only solution tested and the info comes through and the file still plays in QuickTimePlayer, WindowsMediaPlay, WinAmp and those 2 datums ARE THERE!!!

Of course us tech-heads always say: "Read the screen. Read the screen." and after about 5 tense, stressful, aweful minutes, you finally read it, right there on the screen under your knows....

To pay for your TESTWARE:
Please try playing the songs in all the players/viewers you have, perhaps you can drag the song right onto the AOL icon, the IE icon, Netscape icon, WMV icon, etc.

While it is playing perhaps right-click the song's title/name, see if there is a PROPERTIES or FILE INFO selection. See if you can see, anywhere on your screen: Full file/song name, Copyright info (date etc..)

from "The Well Tempered Clavier," Prelude #1 - on harpsichord, JSBach wouldn't even have known of Piano (or Pianoforte) most likely!

Though... I get to use SUSTAIN pedal, whereas, real harpsichords don't have one! ... I ... don't think Johan Sebastian would mind...

I must say, I truly find playing dear Ludwig Van to be a wonderful way to get my over-emotional feelings out... WHEW!!!

Days No Different
Yesterday I went to see Days No Different concert last night - but on the way home lost the music CD that I purchased. Anyway, Im trying to find their music online. Can anybody help me out? Im specifically looking for the song "Some Days". It appears on the bands Myspace Profile profile, but it doesnt allow me to download the song.

I also went to IpodKid.com & Mooza.net MP3 Search Engines but can't seem to find the music.

Can anybody assist?
