Our temperature is unseasonably warm. The hungry squirrels don't just eat nuts; in fact they will eat just about anything; from nuts to seeds, plant matter to bird eggs and even fungi etc, whatever they find. Right now we have had no snow at all and everything is uncovered.

This is a real cute fatty. Squirrels eat all sorts of things, nuts, pine cones,some remaining flower heads, seeds from trees etc, and they love your spring flower bulbs which you have just planted.

This is squirrely in spring when there is lots to eat, especially your flower heads.

He is fat for sure. He has eaten all my tulip bulbs that I planted for next spring. It has been very mild and the ground is not frozen.

I bet he enjoyed the gourmet treat.
