Ears of corn

Golden kernels shine and smile

in even rows they beguile

an art collector’s shrewd eyes,

marveling in awe he sighs.

In all its valued humbleness

an ear of corn is priceless

because of its perfection

due to divine selection.

By such beauty deeply stirred

I see a wonderful world

revealing itself to me

as a precious gift for free.

Such vast abundance divine

is doubtlessly a true sign

of Universe’s grand plan

to shower blessings on men.

Let’s all grow in awareness

It’s a question of fairness.

God’s gifts are for all you see

May we share more you and me.

Come, it is never too late

It’s time now to celebrate.

Cornfields reflect in our eyes

while songs of praise reach the skies.

And thank you all my dear friends once again for your heartfelt welcome back and for the loving replies.

I couldn't resist the perfect beauty of those wonderful corn cobs we bought.... and ate! But the pleasure really began by looking at them, by touching them, by peeling them, by inhaling their sun fragrance ...

Love to all!
