Case Studies for Students
Student therapists need people to be their case studies while they are
training, but finding the right case study volunteer can sometimes be difficult. Often people volunteering are friends and don't always provide the challenging health problems students seek or are unable to fit in with their study schedule. Would this be different if there were lots of people wanting to be case studies?
Comptogether.co.uk think the answer is yes. They already offer a free service for professional complementary health therapists to swap treatments, but now they are doing something new.
CompTogether is compiling a list of students. They simply
put in their details on the website including what type of volunteer the student is looking for. Then volunteers can simply scan the list to find a student nearby. Since the site is aimed at professional therapists, these are likely to be the volunteers coming forward. A fantastic opportunity for students to pick up tips from someone who has been there and done it all before. A helping hand.
