Some ideas on Anti-Aging and Nutrition

From http://www.ageofmastery.com/
quote:
"You can't turn back the clock on your life. Change happens in the now. What I know for sure is that the discovery of all you were meant to be is continual, if you're open to seeing it.” Oprah Winfrey

True Health

True health requires external nutrition as well as internal. Sensé™ was developed with the knowledge that the skin reflects the state of the body's health and looks its best when all cells in the skin's layers are properly nourished and hydrated. The skin is the last organ to receive nutrients from the body, and the first to show signs of nutritional deficiency, imbalance, or illness.

While some nutrients can be applied topically, others can only be produced from within the body. Therefore, true health requires a synergy of internal and external nutrition, as well as protection from environmental toxins and oxidation damage, which can accelerate sagging and wrinkling.

As Oprah says: "...all you were meant to be is continual..." this reminds me a friend used to say the body is ever renewing itself "...like a copy machine that makes a better copy each time." So we should be continually reformulating what works best. "Therefore, true health requires a synergy of internal and external nutrition, as well as protection from environmental toxins and oxidation damage..." This quote from the Anti-Aging site linked makes sense too, synergizing internal and external nutrition. I knew that the cocoa butter I apply externally was helping!

And from my musician's viewpoint having a positive outlook and being relaxed I believe to be a great anti-carconigenic. Balancing mental vibrance and proper nutrition, synergistically, that's my health formula.

Comments? Suggestions?

Thank you for this very informative post.

I order to remain healthy We should listen to our body, we are all a bit different, so the same rules do not apply for everyone.

Eat organic foods whenever possible, including lots of fruit and vegetables. Darker colored foods give us more vitamines. If we eat good foods we do not need to take a lot of supplements.

We need some grains, seeds, nuts and and breads, preferably whole wheat or rye.

Personally I find that I do need some meat to keep my muscles healthy, but that varies with the individual. I also drink some organic milk every day, and have organic yogurt.

Fish is also excellent for you.

Avoid too much caffeine and alcohol. I still have two cups of coffee a day. Coffee does have some positive qualities as we discussed earlyer on Givnology.

Exercise every day. Fast walking is one of the best things that you can do for your body ,and unlike jogging, it does not damage your knee and ankle joints. Yoga is also very good.

Drink lots of fluids, especially water.

Try to meditate whenever possible. Listening to peaceful music and enjoying nature and beautiful artwork is also soothing to the soul, and for some people it is a form of meditation.

Try to keep a positive an happy outlook on life; this will lower your blood pressure. Negative thoughts and emotions are very damaging for the body.

Dr Deepak Chopra has a quote in his book
"Jorney into Healing" which sums it up beautifully:

If we could allow the mind
to expand and to explore higher
realities, the body would follow.
Wouldn't that be enough to save
it from disease and old age?

Well well well! he he.. RaisedBrows Dear Inda I should have known you would find a Dr. Deepak Chopra M.D. quote to fit this post. Roll Eyes And I love his writings also, because he truly integrates the scientific medical knowledge with ancient Hindu (East Indian) Vedic wisdom, and the combination comes out like the common sense that isn't very common anymore!!!
