From Metronews, July 25, 2009

PetAirways co-founder Alysa Binder holds her dog Zoe, in Omaha, Neb, during a trial run for the first - ever all - pet airline started by Binder and her husband, Dan Wiesel. The first flight took off on July 24th, 2009. PetAirways flies from smaller airports in five U.S. cities - New York, Washington, Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles. The one way fare is comparable to pet fees at the largest U.S. airlines. Flight on PetAirways are already booked for several months.

Thank you Inda.

PetAir is actually a very nice idea.
I had a friend who's pet experienced great trauma on a regular airplane. They keep animals in freezing cold conditions, and there is nobody to comfort them. It is also good that the cost of transporting the animals is the same as on a regular flight; this makes it affordable to everyone.

Love,
yoko

May the pets have a pleasant flight.
