Thank you both, dear Gisele and dear Sue, for your most loving comments and pictures. You warm my heart today ... it's a gray day and rather cold, just watered the plants outside and shivered but I enjoyed so much the blooming spring plants and especially one single rosebud of a red rose which didn't bloom for a couple of years. What a joy! Inspired right now by your picture dear Sue: Take off your shoes my love and walk hand in hand with me upon the soft silky carpet of pink cherry...

Thank you Inda. I found more information here: http://www.fitday.com/fitness-...enefits-of-milk.html Milk is an important part of our diet. We begin drinking it when we are young, but our intake decreases as we get older. Some people shy away from it because they fear that it will add too much fat to their diet. Others leave it out because they believe that they no longer need it. You are never too old to reap the rewards of drinking milk. It is a great source of vitamins and nutrients, and...

Louis Comfort Tiffany became interested in glassmaking from about 1875 and worked at several glasshouses in Brooklyn between then and 1878. In 1879 he joined with Samuel Colman and Lockwood de Forest to form 'Louis Comfort Tiffany and Associated American Artists. Tiffany's leadership and talent, as well as by his father's money and connections, led this business to thrive.

This is not a poem, but a quote from Alexandre Dumas "The Count of Monte Cristo" A Summer Ball. The same day during the interview between Madame Danglars and the procureur, a travelling-carriage entered the Rue du Helder, passed through the gateway of No. 27, and stopped in the yard. In a moment the door was opened, and Madame de Morcerf alighted, leaning on her son's arm. Saint Cecilia ( Latin : Sancta Caecilia ) is the patroness of musicians. It is written that as the musicians played at her wedding she "sang in her heart to the Lord". [2] [3] Her feast day is celebrated in the Latin Catholic , Eastern Catholic , Anglican , and Eastern Orthodox churches on November 22. She is one of seven women, excluding the Blessed Virgin , commemorated by name in the Canon of the Mass . From Wikkipedia.

Sue 1 ·
Saint Cecilia is one of the most fascinating saints. She lived during the Roman Empire and was born to a wealthy Roman family. She vowed her virginity to Christ but her parents married her off anyway. She then converted her husband who respected her virginity and converted his brother. Together her husband and his brother buried martyred Christians which was illegal, and therefore resulted in their martyrdom. St. Cecilia responded by converting hundreds of people and burying her husband.
