Thank you dear Inda, Teo, Sue and Vicky for joining in this prayer!

The worldwide reaction to this decision of the conclave is mainly positive, even if there are some dissenting voices.

Pope Benedict XVI has made it clear more than once, before and after the election, that he intends to continue on the Path indicated by Pope John Paul II.

And we ask Our Lord of Heavens to assist him in realizing his intentions in the interest of worldwide Peace and unity.

I share a picture showing the current and the former Pope together. This picture was taken in 1979 and it confirms what we know: there existed a great affinity between the two.
