Thanks for the great thread "you guys."
I appreciated this one Teo. I'll paste it here for emphasis since it sums up what I was getting at:
"In the MCO (microcosmic orbit) chi comes up the spine/chakras/endocrine gland system, this usually takes a few minutes at least, and then when it connects on the top a shower of chi comes back down the front of the body, fueling reservoirs upper=brain, middle=heart, lower=abdomen"
Seeing is believing.
There is "devolution" if it is in someone's karma, and there can be "prana stealing" and "reverse tantra" etcetera, but I think the distillation and cleansing approach is all positive both up and down through the median and right and left psychic nerve channels.
It's like the theme of good overcoming evil, of love overcoming hatred and mistrust.
Isn't it remarkable how religious texts are filled with yogic imagery including the western bible and the so-called secular works by some of the Chinese taoist philosophers and the buddhists who are sometimes thought of as a - theistic? All are ones, as I like to say.
I love the Guru and Chela on the lotus leaf, Vicky. I feel like I'm in the Shaolin Temple and it finally has gone Co-ed!
I enjoyed your environmental prana metaphor Teo. I quite concur with it. What was the name of that artist you recently turned me on to with the visualizations of the manifestations of the psychic nervous system?
The illustraton you provided is the "conventional" one for the chakras. It still works for that basic depiction of the psychic nervous system as being something other than a bunch of assymetrical gooey and somewhat ugly looking organs (at least if we were to dissect ourselves).
Eventually we'll all make ashes of ourselves or be buried and we'll become part of the soil. We are the environment. Lately it seems our automobiles have been doing too much breath of fire.
Maybe we're averting the oncoming ice age. We must be winning. God needs a damned big piece of kleenex to blow His Nose. With all the smoke in the air She has been doing lots of anulima vilima (alternate breathing) and lots of ujayi pranayama (the exercise that gets the snot outa ya). I suggest looking it up because there are variations of ujayi which is generally a circular pattern sometimes in or out of one nostril and sometimes in or out of both nostils as part of a bigger cycle.
It's better than antihistimines. It is allergy season. Get out your yoga mats.
Inda, your links are the greatest. That one is in the Tools and Reference folder now. It's Memorial Day Weekend here in the States. On this track we have poetry music art motion postures and lotsa insight. You could call it the Inda Five Hundred - everyone who visits should complete the circuit without a crash or mechanical failure.
Thanks again Teo for the specification chart for the wiring harness.
