HAPPY EASTER

Love, Inda
***********

EASTER EVEN

The tempest over and gone, the calm begun,
Lo,"it is finished" and the Strong Man sleeps:All stars keep vigil watching for the sun,
The moon her vigil keeps.

A garden full of silence and of dew
Beside a virgin cave and entrance stone:
Surely a garden full of Angels too,
Wondering, on watch, alone.

They who cry "Holy, Holy, Holy,"still
Veiling their faces round God's Throne above.
May well keep vigil on this heavenly hill
And cry their cry of love.

Adoring God in His new mystery
Of Love more deep than hell, more strong than death, until the day break and the shadows flee.
The Shaking and the Breath.

La Pietà di Michelangelo

After the Via Crucis here comes the night of silence, of tears, of pain.

But the Joy is near.

There has been a great participation at the Via Crucis (Way of the Cross) this evening at the Coliseum in the presence of Pope John Paul II.

This is the meditation for the 14th Station, written by Fr. André Louf:

MEDITATION

The first light of the sabbath.
He who was the light of the world descends into the realm of darkness.
The body of Jesus is swallowed up by the earth,
and with it all hope is swallowed up.
But his descent into the abode of death
is not for death but for life.
It is to reduce to powerlessness him who held the power of death, that is the devil (Heb 2:14)
to destroy the last enemy of man, death itself (1 Cor 15:26),
to bring life and immortality to light ( 2 Tim 1:10),
to preach the good news to the spirits in prison (1 Pet 3:19).
Jesus lowers himself and reaches the first human couple,
Adam and Eve, bowed under the burden of their guilt.
Jesus stretches out his hand to them,
and their faces light up with the glory of the resurrection.
The first Adam and the last are similar and recognize one another;
the first finds his likeness
in him who was to come one day
to free him together with all his other children (Gen 1:26).
That day has finally come.

Now in Jesus, every death, from that moment on, can flow into life.

quote:
The way of the Cross is the road which leads to Paradise; it is the sure way to holiness.

The Passion of Christ is the greatest and most stupendous work of Divine Love.

-- St. Paul of the Cross

Thank you dear Inda!
HAPPY EASTER TO YOU TOO.
Love, Margherita

HAPPY EASTER!

He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. (Matthew 28:6)

Resurrection

JESUS!
You! Teacher of Love,
Master of the Light,
One with God from
the very beginning
of Life, to last
into eternity.
Oh, how I love You!

You! Healer of souls.
You, Truth manifest
through Your untold
depth touching
the Infinite, in
perfect Harmony.
Oh, how I love You!

You! God's gift to
Humanity, His Love
embodied. You, Spirit
embracing Cosmos,
spreading Light within
the searching hearts.
Oh how I love You!

You! Unfolding limitless
compassion, You, containing
the world's abysmal pain,
You! Condemned
by those You loved.
You, Who choose to pierce
through death of matter.
Oh, how I love You.

You! Unconditional Love,
conceiving Resurrection,
to stay among us
as the Universe's
manifestation of the all
enfolding Light and Love,
till the end of Time
and beyond.
Oh, how I love YOU!

Love and Joy to all of you dear friends, Margherita
HAPPY EASTER TO ALL OF YOU DEAR FRIENDS!

I am sorry for not being much present here recently, it seems I have less time to enjoy this wonderful site, but I have slowed down everywhere, I am getting older! Smile But our connection is alive even in periods of silence.

I send you all my love and hugs of friendship across the world.

May the Spirit of Easter touch your souls and hearts.

Margherita

Easter Prayer
God, give us eyes to see the beauty of the Spring,
And to behold Your majesty in every living thing -
And may we see in lacy leaves and every budding flower The Hand that rules the universe with gentleness and power -
And may this Easter grandeur that Spring lavishly imparts
Awaken faded flowers of faith lying dormant in our hearts,
And give us ears to hear, dear God, the Springtime song of birds With messages more meaningful
than man's often empty words Telling harried human beings who are lost in dark despair -
'Be like us and do not worry for God has you in His care'
Amen
-----------

Happy Easter Everyone.

Love
